BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- The Foxglove Pub in Hamburg announced its new hours in a social media post Monday following its closure one week after its grand opening on June 22.
In the post, the pub said its new hours will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The business announced on social media in late June that it was "calling it quits" just one week after starting the business. The closure came after years of renovations to the building on Buffalo Street.
In social media posts that have since been deleted, the owners originally mentioned "questionable decisions" and "a series of unfortunate events."
Amid the closure, WIVB News 4 reached out to the owners, who did not want to speak on camera, about why they closed.
“We are closing because the bar industry is not something we want to pursue, so we plan on selling or leasing the property so someone else can carry out the vision we created,” they said at the time.
