Kafka Granite, a provider of golf course erosion solutions, recently added Dan Hannan as its business development manager for golf and recreation. In this role, Hannan will be responsible for driving the growth of Kafka Granite’s products within the golf and recreation industry.
Hannan will work closely with Kafka’s management, sales, marketing and product development teams to enhance its market presence and better serve its customers.

We are confident that Dan will play a key role in expanding our reach and continuing to deliver top-quality solutions to our customers.”
Kafka Granite features golf course erosion solutions, including its patented Wax Polymer Pathway Mix and Wax Polymer Bunker Sand. According to the company, these wax-coated aggregate products are designed to help superintendents reduce maintenance hours while maintaining a beautiful, natural look. The Wax Polymer Pathway Mix and Wax Polymer Bunker Sand are used on golf course pathways and out-of-play bunkers throughout the United States, offering resilience, erosion resistance, dustless application, easy installation and maintenance-free performance. Kafka’s wax-coated aggregate technology is also used for bike trails, nature paths, ball fields and other forms of recreational surfacing.
“Our Wax Coated Aggregate has revolutionized golf course maintenance,” said Koss. “Our product drastically reduces costly and repetitive cart path and bunker maintenance while maintaining the natural look golfers love. We are excited to see how Dan will help us bring these benefits to even more golf courses.”
“I’ve known and respected the Kafka team for a long time, and I’m honored to now be a part of it,” Hannan said. “I look forward to contributing to the growth of the golf industry. Kafka Granite’s commitment to innovation and quality aligns perfectly with my passion for the industry and I am eager to work with the team to achieve our goals. I believe our products have the potential to make a significant positive impact on golf course maintenance and overall aesthetics and I’m excited to be a part of this journey.”
