Unai Emery’s Aston Villa have not yet received a formal offer from West Ham United for the signature of Jhon Duran, according to Sky Sports News.
Boosting their attacking options is a priority for West Ham during the ongoing window and they have been asking about Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.
Juventus’ Matias Soule is another option for the Hammers, though interest is described as lukewarm, while Aston Villa’s Duran is someone they rate.
Aston Villa are thought to be willing to do business for Duran, who is keen to play more next season, but the price would need to be right.
Despite West Ham being keen, no formal offer has been received at Villa Park for Duran though.
The Hammers have yet to put an official proposal on the table for Emery’s men to consider.
Julen Lopetegui’s side do appear to be picking up the pace on the transfer front though and it is possible Villa could have a bid to deal with soon.
Duran has also attracted interest from a number of other clubs during the ongoing transfer window.
