SUMMER has arrived, and if you are staying in the UK or jetting off into the sunshine, even if it’s a grey cloudy day, SPF is essential – in fact, it’s a yearly must-have you should wear all year round.
We have tried and tested a whole host of sun creams, for the body, and face, even some dedicated to the eye area, face mists, creams, and one-use wonders, but the Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid is hands down my favourite.
Hands down my favourite face SPF[/caption]Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid SPF50+, £8.66 (Was £12.99), Boots
The Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid SPF 50+ is currently on sale at Boots and has been reduced from £12.99 to £8.66, which is a huge saving.
My face SPF hero comes in Invisible (which I am currently using, as well as Glow), which has a slight tint – making it perfect to use as a very gentle tinted moisturiser.
Both Garnier products are infused with skin-loving peptides to smooth the skin, as well as hyaluronic acid to give your skin an extra boost of hydration.
This lightweight formula is infused with vitamin C to brighten the complexion, while SPF50+ protects the skin from harmful UV rays, and prevents the risk of sun damage, and dark spots.
I’m currently loving the Invisible version, I think it’s one of the best face SPFs I have used and a product I have got all my friends, my sister and mum using too.
I am obsessed with Garnier’s Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid, which I wear every single day because it is extremely lightweight, lets my skin breathe and protects from UV rays[/caption]The Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid SPF 50+ doesn’t leave any white cast and is an absolute dream to blend into the skin seamlessly (even if you put a little too much it absorbs into the skin within seconds) meaning it truly does live up to the name invisible.
This SPF is super gentle on the skin too and doesn’t irritate my skin whatsoever, while the funnel-like nozzle helps to target specific areas if you wish to apply directly to your face or monitor the measurements you apply in your hands.
Garnier has created a dream product, which not only protects the skin, but also moisturises, protects it, and leaves my skin glowing too thanks to the Vitamin C.
I wear the SPF every day, regardless of whether I am working from home, sunbathing, or running errands, in summer or winter, as it feels more like a moisturiser than an SPF, which makes it even easier to wear.
Boots’ research also found only 31% of British people apply sunscreen regularly, and 65% are unaware of some of the dangers harmful UV rays can cause.
So, finding a product you love, protects the skin, and can wear every day is key, and I think I have found exactly that in the Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid SPF 50+.
A blessing with this design does not leave any tacky finish or greasiness, which I can be prone to in a heatwave.
Instead, the Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid is quick-drying, yet still leaves a dewy finish boosts my skin’s radiance, and makes me want to put it on.
It’s the perfect size to leave in your beach bag or handbag and take in your hand luggage on any trip, so there is no excuse not to wear sun protection.
Plus, I can apply my make-up over the top easily without any products sliding off or piling, which is another huge bonus in my beauty books.
It’s quick drying but leaves a flattering and natural glow to my skin even on no-make-up days[/caption]I have also been loving numerous other products in Garnier’s new Vitamin C range, including the Garnier Brightening 4% Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Caffeine & Banana Powder Eye Cream, as well as the Garnier 3.5% Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Brightening & Anti Dark Spot Serum for extra glow and vibrancy.
The combination of these three products has made a huge difference in my skin’s texture, luminosity and breakouts, both when applying the products and also after.
The Garnier products are all on sale as part of Boots’ epic summer sale, alongside thousands of other products from big beauty brands, which will run until August 27.
However, Boots has not confined if this saving will run for the entire month – so we’d recommend you stock up while it’s still on offer.
So we intend to stock up on these favourites, as well as other sun creams for the body before they return to full price to see us through the year.
