JO MALONE is best known for its signature Lime, Basil and Mandarin or Pomegranate Noir scents, but there’s a new release on the block.
The leading fragrance brand has launched a limited edition fragrance inspired by Paddington Bear, and it’s Orange Marmalade Cologne – quite fitting right?

The Orange Marmalade Cologne retails for £128 for 100ml, or £58 for 30ml from Jo Malone stores and online.
However, the limited edition fragrance is also available to shop at other retailers, including Lookfantastic, Cult Beauty, Sephora, Harrods, and John Lewis, so you can shop your sweet scent almost anywhere.
The Orange Marmalade fragrance is a limited edition scent from Jo Malone, and while we don’t know exactly how long it will be available to shop, we do know we need it.
The Paddington-inspired fragrance is a cologne, which boasts notes of zesty yet sweet orange peel top note, and a more light and zingy orange middle note before the fragrance settles on the skin and the base notes of cashmere, warm wood, linger.
There’s no denying the orange marmalade notes that waft through your nostrils after one spritz on your pressure points, but it is not a sickly sweet scent or lightweight citrus fragrance that tends to disappear after a matter of minutes.
Jo Malone has created a long-lasting scent and has a layered scent for a multidimensional fragrance.
While the Orange Marmalade scent sounds sweet, youthful and playful, it is not to be confused with a childish fragrance, it is a full-bodied, layered, luxurious and feminine perfume.
Speaking about the latest drop, the Global Head Of Fragrance at Jo Malone London, Céline Roux, said: “Marmalade is quintessentially British.
“After all, what is a traditional breakfast without a good marmalade? What a great inspiration for a scent, to have the bitterness of the orange rind blended with the sweetness of the marmalade.”
We have been sampling the Jo Malone Orange Marmalade fragrance for a week or so now, and it is perfect for all seasons, and occasions, whether it is worn on its own or layered with other scents.
The scent is not too overpowering to wear every day, but, the deep undertones of the cashmere wood make it opulent enough for evening soirees too.
Let’s not forget the packaging too, which is a key talking point.
The bottle may look the same, but the label comes in a royal blue hue – a subtle nod to Paddington and the iconic blue jacket – while the title of the perfume is in a handwritten-like font.
The fragrance is housed in a red and white gingham box, which will stand out against the iconic cream and black packaging Jo Malone is known for.
But, don’t just take our word for it, customers are also loving the new Jo Malone scent.
One commented: “This is a brilliant fragrance. It is bright and spicy! I love that it is beautifully balanced with sandalwood! Growing up with a love for Paddington Bear accompanied by a beautiful fragrance, has been the ultimate gift to myself!”
A second added: “I use the perfume daytime and evening! The good thing is that it has a very nice scent of orange. And the bad thing is that it was very expensive!”
A third reviewer shared: “Absolutely divine perfume. Went into the Jo Malone shop to test it on my hand to see if I liked it. Went shopping and in another store, a lady said to me you smell gorgeous. Enough said I went back to Jo Malone and bought a bottle.”
While there are many Jo Malone dupes out there, there’s nothing like this new Orange Marmalade scent, so shop it before it sells out – after all, we don’t know how long this new drop will be available to shop.
