FIBA EuroBasket 2025
FIBA EuroBasket 2025 is the second most important basketball tournament in the world, after the FIBA World Cup. Cyprus will host 15 games for Group C, with three games per day. The five matchdays of Group C will be held on August 28, 30, 31, September 2, and 4, 2025. Group C will include Cyprus, together with the Greek National Team of Giannis Antetokounmpo as the “partner country”, chosen by the Cyprus Basketball Federation as the host, assuming they secure their qualification in the next phase of the qualifiers in November. Four other national teams will join through a draw in March 2025.
The final phase of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 will take place in four countries. In addition to Cyprus, Latvia, Finland and Poland will each host one Group. The knockout games, from the Round of 16 onwards, will be held in Riga.
