FASHIONISTAS are raving over the latest Marks & Spencer summer collection which they reckon is as trendy as Zara clothing.
If you’re an M&S super fan like us, the team at Fabulous, you will know that is the recent years the high street retailer has seriously upped its fashion game.
Whether its must-have summer dresses that are ”perfect for holidays” or comfy and cooling PJs to make you sleep better, it seems that the store offers just about anything you’d need.
Unsurprisingly, their latest collection, which boasts accessories and other garments, has also become a major hit amongst shoppers.
One of them, Georgia Maiy, took to TikTok, to show off the goodies she’d stumbled upon – and couldn’t stop raving about how the line reminded her of another popular retailer.
Amongst the gorgeous summer finds she spotted whilst browsing the shop floor included Textured Top, selling for a purse-friendly £19.50.
The essential, which comes in a range of sizes from UK 6 to UK 24, is also available in an array of colours – whether you’re after neutrals or something more vibrant, the store has it all.
Fashion overs can pick up this comfy popcorn top in black, cream, light brown, pastel pink and spring green, just to name a few – and the styling options for the versatile number are practically endless.
However, if you want to nab a piece, you will have to act quick, as the item – which is gleaming in over 200 4.3-star reviews – is in high demand.
One customer, who gave the garment an impressive 5/5 rating, said: ”Love the style, and the material, I can match it to anything looks great with denim jacket and jeans.
”Looks very nice teamed up with a suit.”
Someone else penned: ”Really like this top it is a nice length and just what l was looking for the wear with an old m and a floral skirt that l still love after many years of wearing.
”I have bought this in three colours.”
A third chimed in: ”A lovely top so soft and comfortable. Comes up big best to size down great value for money.”
”Since when as M&S become the new Zara?” Georgia wondered in the video, adding she was ”obsessed” with the textured staple.
Whilst in the fashion aisles, the delighted shopper also spotted their brand new Cotton Rich Striped Midi Knitted Dress, available in both black and a stunning mocha colour.
Priced at a reasonable £35, this midi dress hugs you in all the right places and can be dressed either up or down, whatever the occasion is.
Pair the frock with the on-trend Birkenstock sandals or white trainers, throw on some sunnies and a tote bag – and you’re ready to run the errands in style.
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
Add some golden jewellery, put your hair in a chic sleek bun and swap the trainers with heels – and you’re sure to make heads turn going on a date.
Similarly to the noughties-inspired top, the frock is also taking the internet by storm, winning close to five stars on M&S website.
One customer said: ”I absolutely love this dress, it’s so flattering on and is perfect for summer. I usually wear a 12 and bought it in medium and it’s a great fit.”
Another agreed, writing: ”Lovely dress. So easy and comfortable to wear. I have received lots of complaints when I have worn this dress.”
Amazed by the goodies she found – which also included stunning statement accessories and bits for ”wedding” – Georgia wrote in the caption: ”M&S is so good right now, wow.”
