Gabriel Pec’s first year with the Galaxy will now include a spot on the MLS All-Star Team.
Pec, who joined the Galaxy in the off-season as a new Designated Player from Vasco da Gama in Brazil, was added to the team, along with FC Dallas’ Petar Musa, for Wednesday’s game.
The MLS All-Stars will face an all-star team from Mexico’s Liga MX at Lower.com Field in Columbus Wednesday (5 p.m., Apple TV+).
After a slow start, Pec has definitely picked up his production, recording 10 goals and 10 assists in 25 games. He’s the fourth player in Galaxy history to reach the double-double in his first season with the club, joining Landon Donovan (2005), Romain Alessandrini (2017) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (2018).
Over the last two months, Pec has seven goals and eight assists, helping the Galaxy vault to the top of the Western Conference on 49 points.
Galaxy midfielder Riqui Puig was selected to the team earlier this month.
