Congress has called for discussions on governance issues such as the NEET scam, Uttar Pradesh government's order to eateries, and internal security situation in Jammu and Manipur during the Budget session of Parliament. Congress deputy leader in Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi, presented a range of issues, including governance issues, border challenges with China, environmental concerns, and Centre-state relations and the economy.
