A Border Security Force officer and jawan, Assistant Commandant Vishwa Deo and Head Constable Dayal Ram, died from heat stroke and dehydration while patrolling the Harami Nallah area along the India-Pakistan border in Gujarat. The incident occurred in extreme weather conditions with temperatures between 34-36°C and humidity at 80-82%. The patrol team ran out of water and energy fluids. Despite immediate medical evacuation, both personnel could not be saved. The BSF honors their bravery and extends condolences to their families.
