The online services of Wizz Air are now available to the public, the company announced in a press release following Friday’s global tech outage caused by an external provider.
The company says that although the cause of the disruption was beyond its control, customers whose flights were canceled will automatically receive a 120% refund in Wizz credits within 24 hours of their flight’s scheduled departure time.
If a customer wishes to rebook their flight instead of requesting a refund, they can call the customer service line (toll-free) to arrange the rebooking, it notes.
Meanwhile, Ryanair said yesterday that online check-in is available and apologised “for any inconvenience caused by today’s Global 3rd party IT outage which was completely out of our control”.
