Love Island fans work out ‘real reason’ Ayo made huge move in relationship with Jessica

AYO almost told Jessica he loves her tonight, but Love Island fans suspect he had an ulterior motive for the romantic moment.

The relationship between the pair has faced controversy as they dealt with the repercussions of being in a love triangle.

Ayo was originally coupled up with Mimii for the first half of Love Island, and they seemed to be head over heels.

But when the mental health nurse went away to Casa Amor, Ayo’s head was turned by bombshell Jess.

This left Mimii standing alone by the firepit in a heartbreaking moment when she returned to the main villa single, only to find her man had moved on.

Ever since there has been some tension between the pair, as Ayo initially tried to rekindle his relationship with Mimii while dating Jess at the same time.

Eventually he cut things off with Mimii completely, but viewers have been suspicious that the pair still carry a candle for each other.

In tonight’s episode of the ITV reality show, Mimii was seen going on a romantic date with her current partner Josh.

The lovebirds talked about their relationship and agreed to become exclusive as Mimii shared that his patience in waiting for her to get over Ayo was a quality that made her like him more.

Josh was eager to announce his good news when he got back to the villa, rushing to tell all the boys that they had locked things off.

Many Josh’s friends were delighted to hear the news, but Ayo looked sour and was the only boy in the group who did not clap to congratulate the couple.

Later that night, he went on to hint at telling Jess he loves her for the first time.

This left viewers suspicious that Ayo did it as part of a calculated move to draw attention away from Mimii and Josh.

One person fumed: “He’s playing Jess and she deserves better. Only thing Ayo cares about is his own ego.”
