Every Thursday, The Ring will bring you the most up-to-date information on the most relevant fights you need to see in this week-at-a-glance, one-stop enhanced fight schedule. A quick checklist for the cognoscenti, a useful nuts-and-bolts guide for the boxing neophyte is what we’re aiming at.

Alexis Rocha vs. Santiago Dominguez – welterweight – 10 rounds
Rocha, rated No. 9 by The Ring at 147 pounds, is 1-1 in his last two after suffering an upset loss to Giovani Santillan and then scoring a stoppage over Fredrick Lawson in his next outing. In the unbeaten Dominguez he will surely find himself in a compelling crossroads bout that will have an impact on his career in the short run. No room for error for either one of them. That usually translates into awesome fights.

Junto Nakatani vs. Vincent Astrolabio – bantamweight – 12 rounds
Nakatani is one of Japan’s best during one of the country’s best-ever eras in boxing. The nails-tough Astrolabio will prove a stern test for him, but my money is on another dominant masterpiece performance from the local favorite in this “tripleheader” that was partially beheaded by Jonathan Rodriguez’s abysmal weight failure for the now-cancelled bout against another future legend such as Kosei Tanaka.
