He emphasized the abandonment of $85 billion worth of military equipment and the evacuation challenges faced by US citizens in Afghanistan.
Trump recounted his communication with Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, urging the Taliban leader to halt attacks on US troops during his tenure.
During his speech, Trump asserted that Afghanistan has become a major global arms supplier, suggesting instability in the region.
Trump criticized the decision to vacate Bagram Air Base, expressing concerns over China’s proximity and its potential nuclear activities nearby.
Despite claims of selling arms and transferring Bagram Air Base to China, Trump’s assertions have been denied by the Taliban-led Afghanistan.
Trump pledged to end wars if re-elected as US President, asserting his ability to resolve conflicts swiftly and warning of severe consequences if American hostages are not released.
