A DECEPTIVE photograph of rocks scattered on a beach has played tricks on the eyes of many puzzlers.

The photo was shared with over 718,000 people on Reddit’s Find The Sniper forum.
“Find the two dogs in this photo,” said a user, writing under the handle Maryapc.
It’s easy to get distracted admiring nature when taking canines for a stroll on the beach.
However, the brainteaser is a reminder not to take your eye off your dog for too long.
Many people confessed the challenge stumped them and they were only able to find one of the two dogs.
“Second dog took me SO long, and I had to zoom in so close [laughing],” one person said.
“I never knew how much a dog could look like a rock until today… and I’m convinced there is only one doggo in this photo,” another commented.
“I saw the first one; of course, I thought, ‘I got this!’ And the other was nowhere to be found!” a third said.
A fourth Redditor begged for hints as they said the challenge was “driving me nuts!”
“I found one dog, at this point I’m just assuming the second dog took the picture,” another joked.

One person said it took them “a good little amount of time” to find the animal, and another chimed in saying “That’s awesome camo right there.”
Here’s a hint: The creature is toward the middle of the photo.
