ALDI is selling an enormous swimming pool as part of its newly launched summer garden range – just in time for the warmer weather.
It’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer‘s day whilst staying within the comfort of your own home.
The pool is available to buy from July 21, but sun-worshippers will need to be quick, as with all Specialbuys once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Specialbuys are unique and exciting products that you can find exclusively in Aldi stores.
The products are launched in stores every Thursday and Sunday and change every week.
The Metal Frame Pool costs £129.99 and is a whopping 12 feet, so the whole family can enjoy making a splash.
It features a metal frame, as well as a filter, pump and pool cover.
It can hold approximately 2000 gallons of water and has a three-year warranty.
It’s always worth shopping around to find the best deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
For example, Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web.
Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
In comparison, Argos is selling a similar item – the Summer Waves 12ft Round Frame Family Pool – for £300.
And at Wilko, you can buy the Bestway Steel Pro Max Frame Paddling Pool 12ft for £189.
If you’re short on space, Aldi is also selling a Quick Up Pool for £34.99 which is the ideal size for kid’s play or grownups looking to cool off, without taking up valuable room.
This is easy to set up and has a large capacity, with a three-year guarantee as well.
You can purchase a similar model at Wilko, the Avenli Prompt Pool Set with 300 Gallon Filter Pump, for £49.99.
Argos is also selling the Polygroup Summer Waves 8ft Quick Up Paddling Pool for £40.
Aldi’s Metal Frame Pool and Quick Up Pool are available in stores from 21 July while stocks last.

Two main factors affect how much it will cost to fill up your paddling pool – the size and the way you pay your water bill.
If you are on an unmetered contract it won’t cost you anything extra to fill.
This is because your bill is not based on how much water you use – it is based on a standard charge which is already agreed with your provider.
But if you are on a water meter, things could get expensive.
Swimming pools come in a range of sizes, but the smallest standard size is usually 6ft wide – enough room to fit three to four kids in.
These sized pools can hold up to 3,000 litres of water. But how much does it cost to fill up one this size?
Ben Gallizzi, energy expert at Uswitch Energy, comments: “Like so many other household costs that have soared recently, those on a water meter will be paying 25% more per litre compared with five years ago.
“A large paddling pool holding 3,000 litres of water would now cost you nearly £12 to fill up, making it more expensive than you might think.
“If you filled the pool once a week for the six weeks of school holidays, it could end up costing you around £70.
“Be sure to check how much water your paddling pool holds before taking the plunge and filling it to the brim.
“Don’t let the paddling pool water go to waste either – you can use it to water your garden plants or even wash your car.”
WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.
For reduced items – when shops open
Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.
A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”
That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.
Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.
For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays
Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.
New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.
For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.
You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.
They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.
As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.
Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible
