WEEK 1 CLUES: Thanks to Gracie Lou‘s first challenge win, she uncovered Naomi‘s wine clue, which revealed the emojis – a bra, a “T,” a backpack, a tiara, an arrow pointing to the right, a club weapon (or a scary bat with nails in it, as Gracie said), and four coffees with croissants. All she got out of it was the first part potentially meaning “Brat Pack,” which was a nickname given to a group of young actors who frequently appeared in teen-centered coming-of-age movies together in the 1980s.
Some of the fan guesses for Naomi‘s celebrity relative so far have included Katy Perry, America Ferrera, Kelly Clarkson, Mandy Moore, Jennifer Stone and Mindy Cohn.
So, who is she really related to? Online sleuths believe she is related to… (scroll down for SPOILERS)
Our best guess is that Naomi is related to… Molly Ringwald, and that she is her cousin!
The Brat Pack clue is a big hint to Molly Ringwald, who was a key member of that group in the 1980s, with her starring roles in films like Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club.
Other clues leading to Molly include the bacon and eggs on the clue wall for The Breakfast Club, plus the tiara, leading to her being the princess of the Brat Pack! She also played Cordelia, the youngest of three daughters to King Lear in the movie King Lear.
