80s pop star and 90s sitcom legend, 62, has barely aged a day as she performs pop hits in mini-dress at UK festival
AN EIGHTIES pop legend stunned fans with a dazzling performance at retro festival Let’s Rock 80s – 43 years after her chart-topping debut.
Music-lovers gushed “looking fabulous” as Clare Grogan, now aged 62, took to the stage in a glittery golden mini dress.
Clare, best known as the lead singer of Altered Images, shot to fame in the early eighties with hits like Happy Birthday, I Could Be Happy, and See Those Eyes.
The Scottish songstress was adored for her bubbly personality and distinctive style, and her performance this weekend proved she hasn’t lost her touch.
During the festival, Clare took to the stage with an enthusiasm that reminded nostalgic fans of her heyday.
Her golden tasseled dress, paired with shiny matching heels, showcased her timeless elegance.
Clare finished off her festival look with her blonde hair in an updo and a touch of red lipstick.
The star took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes moments from Let’s Rock 80s.
Her post was met with an outpouring of admiration.

After Altered Images disbanded in 1983, Clare continued to entertain audiences with a solo career and acting roles.
She had her breakthrough role while starring as Susan in comedy drama Gregory’s Girl back in 1980.
Producers originally objected to Clare starring in the flick because of a scar she had on her face from an incident that occurred while she was dancing at Glasgow College of Technology.
But director Bill Forsyth stood his ground and refused to recast the role of Susan.
Instead, any close up shots saw the scar covered with derma wax.
