A BRIDE has been brutally slammed after sharing her see-through wedding down which she wore to the church.
The woman, named Pernille Rosenkilde, from Denmark, caused quite the stir online after her unique wedding outfit was dubbed ”inappropriate”.
The influencer’s down, Daily Mail reported earlier, was Pernille’s very own design and featured an on-trend feathered vest over a leotard with a sheer maxi skirt to complete the look.
The blonde stunner told Vogue Scandinavia: ”I love wearing feathers and see-through fabrics, but I also wanted the dress to be elegant, classy and a bit sexy.”
But despite being pleased with the final outfit, the mum was soon mocked online after a snap of the veil-like gown was posted on a popular wedding-shaming page on Facebook.
Several people reckoned that the see-through garments were not suitable to wear to the church, whilst some noted that it was simply not flattering.
One said: ”This woman wore this to a church wedding, she turned up in underwear to a house of prayer.”
Another remarked: ”I don’t care if it was a house of pancakes, it’s an ugly, awkward outfit with granny panties and a muppet top.”
Meanwhile, others were trying to figure out the the thinking and inspiration process behind the rather bizarre gown.
”Was the inspiration big bird swimsuit, but make it wedding,” one woman wondered.
Someone else joked: ”When you have a wedding at 2PM, and the parallel bars at 3PM.”
”Eh. You don’t get to be an influencer by being boring,” a fellow critic of the outfit quipped.
Luckily the stunning Dane, who also received heaps of support, didn’t seem to be too bothered by the rude remarks which she admitted were ”hateful”.
Hitting back at the haters, the stylish mum said that perhaps the trolls were still stuck in the past, which is why they struggled to grasp the concept of the dress.
”Maybe people think we’re still in the Middle Ages but hey I designed my dream dress,” she slammed the bullies in a recent post on Instagram.

Josie Griffiths said: I’ll never forget the wedding I went to in October 2022 where a guest wore a white dress.
It was ill-fitting, knee length and looked nothing like an actual wedding dress, but that didn’t stop everyone judging her.
The rules on wedding guest outfits – which are annoyingly loads stricter for women than they are for men – are meant to be about “not upstaging the bride”, which in reality is quite hard to do on someone else’s wedding day.
But if you get it wrong as a guest, you do end up looking a bit silly, and in front of loads of people who don’t know you personally.
It’s just not the occasion for your new white dress, as much as online stores love dumping them in the ‘wedding guest’ section.
I’d avoid anything too tight/short, and ditch super formal gowns unless the dress code calls for them – you don’t want to be in a full length sequin gown at a smart casual event.
Personally I don’t like black dresses either, it isn’t a funeral.
Otherwise you should be pretty safe. Technically wearing red means you’re in love with the groom, but that’s the kind of rule most people would scoff at nowadays.
I do always check what colour the bridesmaids are in, just to be safe, after the Spanish wedding where I watched them walk down the aisle in the exact same dress I’d had in my Asos shopping basket just weeks earlier.
If in doubt, safest to just double check with the bride… but if you’re already doubting your dress that might be all the answer you need.
”I hand dyed the feathers in tea and made small bouquets of them and hand sewed them to the top of the dress.
”It took something like a month of work and wow it was worth it.”
Sharing a series of wholesome snaps of the wedding, the went on: ”This day and this dress is a core memory that I’m sure will bring me joy forever to think back to.”
”And then the sun came in through the windows of the magnificent church and I truly felt as if something was giving us the blessing (even with a sheer skirt),” the mum chuckled.
”Maybe God likes a bit of leg.”
