Preview: Queen’s Park (H)
We’re back at Easter Road for the first time in the 2024/25 campaign as we host Queen’s Park in the Premier Sports Cup.
The match takes place on Tuesday 16 July, with a 7.45pm kick-off at Easter Road.

David Gray’s side come into this one off the back of a winning start to the new season. The Hibees swept aside League Two opposition, Elgin City on Saturday – running out 5-0 victors at Borough Briggs.
Dylan Vente scored a hat-trick in the Highlands with Martin Boyle and Marvin Ekpiteta also on target in what was a convincing victory to start the new season.
TEAM NEWS
Elie Youan missed our opening Premier Sports match at Elgin due to illness but was back in training on Monday morning at HTC.
Chris Cadden went off injured in the first half at the weekend and will be assessed ahead of the visit of Queen’s Park.
David Gray will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the press on Monday afternoon.
THE HOSTS
Queen’s Park began their Premier Sports campaign with a 5-0 victory at Balmoor Stadium.
The Spiders had five different scorers on the day, and are currently joint with us at the top of Group C.
This will be the first time we have played Queen’s Park since August 2007. Filipe Morais opened the scoring before Hibs before Steven Fletcher added a second in a 2-1 victory at Hampden in the CIS Cup.

The best way to watch the game is to be there in person at Easter Road! Tickets for the match are available to buy online or from the Ticket Hub on Albion Place.
Tickets are available in the West and East Stand only, with prices starting from £16 for adults.
Hibs TV Global members will be able to watch the match live on Hibs TV. The match will also be broadcast live on Premier Sports.
