Scarlett Johansson’s Super-Rare Comments About Daughter Rosie Show How ‘Girly’ She Is

While Scarlett Johansson is a Marvel badass with millions of fans, it seems her daughter Rosie isn’t one of them.

In a rare interview with People, while promoting her new movie with Channing Tatum called Fly Me to the Moon, Johansson revealed that her daughter prefers her role in her new movie over the Black Widow.

“She likes that I play Black Widow, but she’s too scared to watch an Avengers movie,” Johansson said. “She’s just like, ‘It’s violent.’ I’m like, ‘Oh God.'”

She added that Rosie is excited about Fly Me to the Moon, saying she’s excited for “the hair and makeup mostly. It’s just so fun… She’s girly.”

Isn’t that so cute? Rosie is a total girly girl right now, loving makeup and fun hairstyles. (And since the romcom Fly Me to the Moon is based in the 1960s, so we’re excited about the hair and makeup too).

Now, this actually isn’t the first time Johansson called her daughter girly. Back in 2018, when she was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show via People, Johansson revealed Rosie’s personality. “She’s a very sweet girl,” she said. “She’s very, very, very, girly. Like painfully girly.”

For those who don’t know, Johansson has two children, a daughter named Rosie and a son named Cosmo. She welcomed her daughter Rosie with her then-husband Romain Dauriac, with whom she was with from 2012 to 2017, on Aug. 30, 2014.

Then, in August 2021, she and her husband, Colin Jost, welcomed their son Cosmo.
