Two more sleeps until the All-Star Break
The Mariners lost a heartbreaker last night while the Astros won, to cut the Mariners’ lead in the AL West to just one game. The Astros lost to Texas in extras today, 2-1, so if the Mariners could pull out a win, they could repair the damage done in last night’s extra-innings loss.
Once again, the Angels are too busy enjoying last night’s walk-off win apparently to post a lineup graphic, so here’s what it is.

Victor Robles gets the start against the righty Soriano, leaving the switch-hitting Clase on the bench. Cal moves into the two-hole spot as DH while Garver will catch Kirby.
The Futures Game was today, and the AL was soundly defeated, 6-1. Cole Young went 1-for-3 with a single, and Harry Ford went 0-for-1 with a walk.
