The highly anticipated Boys of Summer men’s fastpitch softball tournament is back for another exciting weekend of action in Denmark, Wisconsin from July 12-14, 2024. Twelve elite teams from across the United States and Canada will compete in three pools before a single elimination playoff on Sunday determines the champion.
Local favorites Circle Tap Dukes will host the event, with games split between their home field and nearby Denmark Memorial Park, the site of the 2023 ISC World Tournament. Other top contenders include the Hill United club from Ontario, Kegel Black Knights out of Fargo, and the Honeybadgers from St. Louis.
Friday night will feature a special Circle Tap Hall of Fame induction ceremony prior to the Dukes taking on the Pueblo Bandits at 7pm. Saturday’s schedule is jam-packed with 15 pool play games across the two fields before the final standings are determined.
The top six teams advance to Sunday’s single elimination bracket, with the #1 and #2 seeds receiving a first round bye. The championship game will be played at 1:30pm on Circle Tap’s diamond.
If any tiebreakers are needed, the order is: 1) Record, 2) Head-to-Head, 3) Runs Allowed in ALL Pool Games, 4) Runs Scored in ALL Pool Games, 5) Coin Flip.
