Really it should be ANA but
The Mariners jumped all over a rookie starter and Triple-A callup last night, but today they’ll have their toughest test of the series facing de facto staff ace and former Mariner Tyler Anderson, the Angels’ lone All-Star selection. Unfortunately, Anderson has not been traded yet despite me refreshing Twitter every ten seconds to hope that he was, so the Mariners will hope that Bryan Woo has some solid innings in the tank, enough that the Mariners can get into the Angels’ bullpen and maybe score some runs.
Mariners social coming in a little hot on a Friday afternoon with this picture of Bryan Woo being all “will you accept this baseball?”

Now for a completely different energy, the Angels social media team heard all you guys making fun of their “graphic design is my passion” lineup card yesterday and so have not posted one yet, an hour and a half before game time, so this is what we have to work with:
Congratulations to Andrés Muñoz, who was selected as a replacement All-Star. He should have gotten in the first time around but at least he’s there now.
To make room for Bryan Woo, RHP Eduard Bazardo was optioned back to Triple-A Tacoma. Bazardo put together two very solid, shutout innings last night, saving the bullpen for today, so it seems a bit cruel that his reward is to head straight back to Tacoma, but he’ll be back up with the big-league club soon again enough.
