Ryan Reynolds once again wore his favorite Converse sneakers while attending a photo call for his upcoming film “Deadpool & Wolverine” in London on Friday afternoon.
The actor was previously spotted last week wearing the classic kicks alongside co-star Hugh Jackman while kicking off the promotional tour for the movie in Shanghai, China. For that event, Reynolds paired his shoes with dark blue slacks and a short sleeve crocheted top, which he paired over a white T-shirt.
This go-round, Reynolds once again with the black and white color variation of the Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers, which come crafted with a sleek canvas material in the upper and a durable rubber outsole. Also incorporated into the design are laces designed in a standard white color, with the shoes featuring the incorporation of medial eyelets for extra breathability.
He paired his kicks with a tan pair of khakis and a short sleeve dark green embroidered shirt that highlighted his broad arms and shoulders.
Converse was founded circa 1908 by Marquis Mills Converse. Then known as the Converse Rubber Shoe Company, the brand quickly developed a strong name and reputation for themselves in the world of footwear, apparel and accessories. The All Star Classics are regarded as the brand’s most iconic model, boosting a high-profile design with instant recognition and a durable build that lasts for a long time. Converse has been a subsidiary of Nike since 2003.
While Reynolds opted for the black and white color, Chuck Taylor’s come in over 15 different shades, giving you plenty to choose from. The current asking price for a pair is $65.
Casual sneakers are in-line with Reynolds’ go-to style and preferences. For example, in November 2023, the actor was spotted walking alongside wife Blake Lively in a pair of white canvas sneakers that featured white laces and a cloud-white rubber outsole. Reynolds’ has also been seen wearing the likes of Asics, Adidas and Nike over the years.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” focuses on Wolverine as he is recovering from his injuries. He then crosses paths with the loudmouth, Deadpool, and together they team up to defeat a common enemy. The film was directed by Shawn Levy, and releases in theaters on July 26.
