CHURCH POINT, La. (KLFY) – Church Point Police are searching for a man accused of fraud.
According to the Church Point Police Department, Louis Morgan Hebert Jr. was able to obtain over $500 in items from a local merchant. Hebert claimed to be a purchasing agent and employee from a company in another jurisdiction and committed the fraud back in April.
When the company and the merchant realized what was done, they reported it to Church Point Police. After an extensive investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of Louis Morgan Hebert Jr. on charges of identity theft and organized retail theft.
Hebert has also committed this same fraud in other jurisdictions and an investigation is still ongoing.
