Rodrigo Hernández‘s girlfriend Laura Iglesias is a medical student.
She is training to become a surgeon.
Laura supports him in her free time and was seen with him at the French Open in May 2024.
The couple do not have any children together, and keep their lives off social media.
Rodri has previously said that she records her reaction to his goals which he watches later.
Rodri is a defensive midfielder who plays for Manchester City after joining them in 2019.
He began his career at Villarreal, where he played for the senior squad from 2015-2018.
He signed for Atlético Madrid for the 2018/2019 season before moving to the UK.
Rodri is also a Spanish international.
He is part of the squad set to face England in the Euro 2024 final at the famous Olympiastadium on Sunday, July 14, 2024.
Rodri and Laura met during university.
He was studying business studies and economics at the Universidad de Castellon in eastern Spain.
Rodri even lived in student halls in a shared place.
His friend Valentin Henarejo told Marca about their time at university: “People were shocked when they saw Rodri, who was playing in the top flight but still living at the university residence.

He said about Laura: “When I get to score, I always have a video of Laura celebrating the goal at home and I always watch it in a locker room.”
The pair keeps their relationship private.
Laura even has a private Instagram account.
