A PRESENTER has shared that he found a ‘perfect replacement’ as he prepares to take some time out from The Repair Shop.
Will Kirk told followers that he has had to scale back on restoring family antiques as he focuses on a different project.

He took to Instagram to share a photo of her, writing: “I’ve been away from the barn, filming an exciting new project for the past few weeks.
“Fear not, I’ve sent in the perfect temporary replacement.”
The tongue-in-cheek post featured a photo of his tiny daughter standing in front of The Court Barn, where the BBC series is set.
The toddler had a toy tool belt fastened around her waist, complete with wooden pliers and a miniature hacksaw.
Fans were overwhelmed by how cute she looked in the getup.
One person shared: “Awww look at her with her little tool belt! Following her Daddy in restoration. Shes a gorgeous little one Will. Love her.”
Another chimed in: “Cute little girls is buckling up for the Repair Shop. Bring it on! A new Repair Shop star is on her way!”
A third added: “So sweet – hope you teach her everything you know, and more, your little apprentice.”
Will welcomed the little girl to the world with his wife Polly Snowdon in July 2022.
The restoration pro likes to keep his family life private, and has still declined to reveal his daughter’s name.
Away from his work on The Repair Shop, it is not unusual for Will to feature in other programmes.
He and co-star Jay Blades previously appeared together in a special celebrity edition of Strike It Lucky.
In 2021 he also competed in Celebrity MasterChef, only to be eliminated early on after a dish he prepared contained raw duck.
