Ministries on Friday presented their flagship projects to be included in the state budget for 2025, government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said.
A special cabinet meeting was held to coordinate preparation of the budget.
Letymbiotis said much discussion had been had about the ministries submitting their flagship actions for both the state and surplus state budgets, and this information would be used by each ministry to enable the preparation of the state budget to be submitted in September 2025.
According to Letymbiotis, “the aim is for the second annual state budget to record and clearly reflect the vision and stamp of President Christodoulides’ governance programme”.
He said that, as was the case last year, each ministry will present its action programmes, and early next year Christodoulides will present the actions to be implemented within 2025 at a special event.
