The grandmother’s Tinder page is filled with pictures of her in bikinis, heavy makeup and leather jackets.
In her bio, she describes herself as a “fascinating older beauty” seeking, a younger lover.
Hattie revealed that many younger men set their Tinder age to say that they are in their 50s, when they are actually in their 20s, so as to match with older women.
She said that she has a steady stream of young men to go on dates with, and even once went on a date with a 19-year-old.
Speaking to Truly, she said: “I didn’t know he was 19.
“I probably wouldn’t have gone to bed with him if I knew he was 19”.
Hattie was previously married but said the relationship broke down after her children went off to university.
After her divorce at age 55, Hattie put an advert in the paper saying that she was looking for a man and “auditioned” the men that replied over the phone.
Since then, she has continued to casually date, having never remarried.
Hattie’s daughter Rama said that she is generally not embarrassed by her mother’s antics, but was left red-faced when she found out that Hattie had ended up sleeping with a man in university accommodation.
“I think that was pushing the limit”, Rama said.
Hattie loves getting all dolled up in her finest sparkly outfits to meet the young men, and sometimes isn’t even wearing any underwear under her dress.
“We meet for a few drinks, and if it’s going well, we’ll go right up to my apartment to make love”, she said.
Hattie said that she wants to inspire younger men and women to think “if that’s ageing, that’s OK with me”.
She hopes that the younger generation will be more like her and will “claim a new way of ageing”.
