DUMPED Love Islander Jess White has broken her silence since being axed – saying she felt “overwhelmed”.
Jess, who has appeared in this summer‘s Love Island since the start, has been dramatically dumped from the ITV2 show in a mass cull.
She took to her Instagram Stories and shared a clip of the moment she was brutally sent home following the public vote.
The reality star wrote: “Thank you everyone for all your kind words and support throughout my time in the villa.
“I am overwhelmed with all the lovely messages and going to miss my people so much.”
She also shared a photo of her posing next to her Love Island suitcase after arriving home.
Jess added: “Home. The best summer of my entire life. I have met the most incredible people who will be friends for life.
“Thank you to Love Island, the entire team is so incredible.”
Jess opened up about her time in the villa and insisted she ‘gets on with everybody’ – despite being repeatedly branded a “bully” by fans,
Following her exit, Jess – who hails from Stockport – has even claimed she will be “friends for life” with her co-stars.
She said: “I’m a people’s person, that’s my job, so I knew I’d get on with everybody.
“This journey has taught me to never underestimate how important friendships are.
“I was so close with both the girls and boys in the villa and I love them all individually.
“I’m a tough cookie and rarely cry but everytime one of my girls left I was always in tears. The relationships you form are so special, I’m so proud of everyone and think we will all be friends for life.”
Jess also described herself as a “big sister” in the villa and says she only has nice words for everyone – including her love rival, Harriett Blackmore.
Harriet and Jess were embroiled in a love triangle with Ronnie Vint during much of the series and they came to blows on several occasions.
But she added: “I was like everyone’s big sister but Samantha, Nicole and Uma were so lovely and people I hope to have in my life for a very long time.
“Nicole for the win, she’s my little sister and best friend.
“I only have nice things to say about everyone, even Harriett was lovely although we didn’t see eye to eye on the odd occasion.”
Jess was dumped from Love Island on Wednesday night following the latest public vote.
Fans had been asked to vote for their favourite boy and favourite girl in the villa and Jess was among those who received the least votes.
She was given the axe in a mass cull alongside Casa Amor bombshells Hugo Godfroy, Blade Siddiqi and Emma Milton.
