Some trends come and go, but one thing always seems certain: people go absolutely wild for limited-time Trader Joe’s products. And we’re not just talking about the food, though we’ve been known to stockpile our favorite snacks in fear that someday they’ll disappear, never to be seen again. It turns out the same thing happens with some TJ’s items that seem simple as can be. Take, for instance, one of their summer additions, a mini insulated tote bag in two colors that sold for $3.99 each. Many stores sold completely out of these little cooler totes the same day they went on sale, but collectors can rejoice, because Trader Joe’s is finally bringing these bags back to stores.
The mini insulated tote bags were introduced in June, and were immediately a hit. They sold out almost immediately, as did the non-insulated mini canvas totes Trader Joe’s released in March of 2024. But luckily, there are signs that the mini insulated tote bags will be back in stock before summer is over — on July 17, to be exact.
We first heard the news from Instagram account TraderJoesObsessed. They shared that a team member at their local Trader Joe’s in Montrose, Cali., divulged that the mini insulated cooler totes will be back in stores on Wednesday, July 17th. They’ll still be offered in the magenta and teal colors, and best of all, the price will be sticking at just $3.99.
Of course, if you don’t manage to snag one of these Trader Joe’s Mini Insulated Tote Bags before they sell out, you can always find them on a resale site, but be forewarned: they’re a lot more expensive that way. So, if you want to get your hands on a mini cooler bag from Trader Joe’s this time around, set your alarm so you can make it to your local Trader Joe’s when they open on July 17.
