The CBI arrested Rakesh Ranjan, suspected to be the mastermind behind the NEET-UG question paper leak, from Patna. Searches were conducted in Patna and Kolkata, resulting in the recovery of incriminating documents. Ranjan, known as Rocky, allegedly leaked the paper to Chintu, who distributed and printed it with answers. He is related to Sanjeev Mukhia, another accused. Ranjan was remanded to CBI custody for 10 days by a special court in Patna.
