The US has become a target market for the club in recent years – a point evidenced by their pre-season schedule this summer.
After playing a couple of friendlies in Norway and Scotland, the Red Devils embark on a three-game tour of the US which visits Los Angeles, San Diego and Columbia.
They will face Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool during their trip to the US before returning to England to prepare for their Community Shield clash with Manchester City. They will be hoping to have signed a few players in the summer transfer window by then.
Liverpool are also heading to the US for most of their pre-season preparations where they will play Betis, Arsenal and Man United in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Columbia respectively.
The Reds complete their pre-season fixtures on August 11 when La Liga club Sevilla visit Anfield for a clash guaranteed to be a sell-out.
Arsenal kick-off their pre-season schedule against Bournemouth in Los Angeles ahead of their fixtures against Man United and Liverpool.
They also have two matches at the Emirates Stadium against Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen (August 7) and Ligue 1 side Lyon (August 11).

Ange Postecoglou’s team complete their pre-season games with a rematch against Bayern at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 10.
