Hello Friends,
It was a bit of a wait between sets for the crew at Dee Why point this morning. But there were still sets into the chest high range with the occasional even bigger one in the mix. The beach looked smaller and was a bit lined up but I’m sure you’d get something if you paddled out.
Swell at sea was 1.4 metres at 9 seconds from the east and wind was coming lightly from the NW. Tide was coming into the 1.3 metre high at noon.
Weather should be sunny with a high of 18.
We’ll see what the Goat thinks later, but my quick take is that we could well be headed into a week of solid surf.

A high pressure ridge lies over the New South Wales coast, where it is expected to remain for several days. A trough offshore of the far north coast, will continue to move east today. On Friday, a cold front and its associated trough is forecast to move up the coast bringing a fresh and gusty southerly change.
