Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu had a game-saving block party in a thriller against the Connecticut Sun, and it was totally awesome.
Late in the fourth quarter, with under two minutes to play, the New York Liberty were up 69-68 when Stewie unleashed not one but THREE huge blocks to stuff Connecticut. Also, with four seconds left, Sabrina Ionescu drove to the lane for the go-ahead basket. BUT IT GETS BETTER.
After a timeout, the Sun tried to get off a 3-point shot. However, Sabrina came up SUPER CLUTCH with a COLOSSAL block to stop a possible game-tying bucket by Ty Harris. HELLO, A LITERAL BLOCK PARTY.
