CLOUD COUNTY (KSNT) - The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued a water boil advisory in Cloud County on Wednesday.
According to the KDHE, customers of Rural Water District #1 were placed under a water boil advisory after KDHE officials found the system at risk of bacterial contamination. The advisory comes after a waterline break. The KDHE said the waterline break can result in a loss of chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination.
The advisory went into effect on July 10 and will be in effect until the KDHE rescinds the advisory.
