Nicolas Cage’s Wife Riko Brings Edge to ‘Longlegs’ Premiere in Thigh-High Balmain Boots

Riko Cage opted for a pair of Balmain over-the-knee boots when she stepped out on July 8 to support her husband, Nicolas Cage, at the premiere of his upcoming movie, “Longlegs,” which will be released on July 12.

For the Los Angeles premiere at the Egyptian Theatre, Riko Cage selected an intricately embellished oversized jacket that fell to her mid-thigh. Against a black background were two large roaring tigers, which were embroidered above a nature scene resembling a forest. The sleeves of the jacket were bright red and embellished with a similar design of branches and leaves, although this time in black. Riko Cage’s sparkling attire complemented the glittering detail accenting the lapel of her husband’s black suit jacket.

Riko Cage continued to make a fashion statement with her bold shoe choice, picking out a pair of over-the-knee black leather boots by Balmain. More specifically, she wore the French brand’s stretch leather Raven thigh-high boots, which retail for $1,745. The Italian-crafted shoes are made of lambskin and feature a 3.7-inch metallic heel with a burnished gold finish. The pointed-toe boots also feature a buckle around the ankle bearing the Balmain ‘B’ in a gold hue.

While Riko Cage wore boots from Balmain’s women’s collection, the brand showcased a myriad of inventive styles for men earlier this year when it presented its fall 2024 menswear collection.

Meanwhile, on the “Longlegs” red carpet, Nicolas Cage’s co-star Maika Monroe wore a strapless leather bra with a matching skirt, while castmate Blair Underwood wore a black fishnet top with a white jacket and white pants.

Prior to “Longlegs,” Cage was promoting the film “Surfer,” which screened at the Cannes Film Festival this year. He embraced the coastal energy of the festival with a breezy khaki-colored suit and a pair of Zegna’s Triple Stitch Deerskin sneakers in an off-white shade.
