Meagan Good Goes Sheer in Strappy Sandals for Tyler Perry’s ‘Divorce in the Black’ New York Premiere
Meagan Good shined in strappy sandals while attending the New York City premiere of Tyler Perry’s “Divorce in the Black” New York Premiere alongside co-star Cory Hardrict.
Appearing at Regal Times Square, Good sported a beige open-toe silhouette with a slender tan strap across the rounded upper-toe box. While the rest of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely due to the long train on her dress, it’s likely the sandals were completed by a slender ankle strap and a stiletto heel ranging between 4 and 5 inches based on the actress’ previous preferences.
She completed her look with a blue dress that featured an open-cut design that showed off her torso and a matching clutch. As for her makeup, she kept it simple with a 1990s-inspired dark brown lip. Hardrict kept his ensemble simple as well, donning black leather dress shoes and a shiny pinstripe suit.
Earlier this month, Good was seen at the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles wearing another iteration of her favorite strappy sandals. For the event, she showcased an open-toe silhouette with a slender glossy black strap in the upper region. The strap sat at the top of a slightly chunky platform base measuring a little over 1 inch in height.
The design also featured a matching black ankle strap with a beaded design and a stiletto heel between 4 and 5 inches tall. That same weekend, she and Hardrict made another promotional appearance at the BET Awards Media House. For that conference, the “Cousin Skeeter” actress opted for a pair of neutral sandal heels that featured a sturdy strappy construction, adjustable buckle closures, arched soles and 2 to 3-inch thin stiletto heels as the finisher.
Those shoes mirrored a pair she was seen in at the A Toast to Black Hollywood event in Los Angeles where she fashioned a simple black stiletto characterized by patent leather construction, slender patent straps wrapped around the toe and ankle and a skinny high heel that looked to be around 4 inches tall.
Tyler Perry’s “Divorce In The Black” is about a woman whose husband leaves her heartbroken as he deserts their marriage. When she moves on and finds true love, however, her former lover starts embarking on a series of malicious actions. The film releases via Amazon Prime on June 11.
