Morgan Riddle Brings Socks and Heels Trend to Wimbledon 2024 in Miu Miu

Influencer Morgan Riddle embraced the socks and heels trend at the Wimbledon Championships on July 8, day eight of the two-week tournament in London.

Riddle has made a name for herself online documenting her experiences as the girlfriend of American tennis pro Taylor Fritz, who just beat German player Alexander Zvervev and will be advancing to the fourth round of Wimbledon. Because of her growing influence, Riddle has been dubbed by the New York Times as “the most famous woman in men’s tennis.”

Riddle cheered on her boyfriend from the Player’s Box dressed in a classic tennis-inspired outfit involving plenty of layers and collars. She wore a white miniskirt with a white button-down featuring a blue collar, which seemed to be worn over a navy blue polo. Her outermost layer was a navy collared jacket by Miu Miu. Known as the Chino Blouson jacket, the garment retails for $2,750. It features gold buttons and has the brand logo embroidered in the corner. Riddle wore her hair half up, half down and accessorized with gold earrings and a black purse from Miu Miu.

To complete her ensemble, Riddle wore black pumps with gray crew socks, which accentuated her preppy aesthetic. The shoes featured a pointed toe, a tall heel, and a patent finish.

Other celebrities who have rocked the socks and heels trend include Charlize Theron, who wore gray socks with patent leather Dior shoes at The Hollywood Reporter’s Beauty Dinner in October 2023; additionally, Rachel Brosnahan wore white socks with block heel platform pumps at the Venice Film Festival in 2022.
