Nigel Farage and Reform MPs arrive at Commons as Lee Anderson says ‘the fox is in the henhouse’
FIREBRAND Nigel Farage entered the Commons for the first time as an MP this morning.
The outspoken Brexiteer arrived in Westminster side-by-side with Reform’s four other elected members.
As the “famous five” posed for pics by Westminster Palace, Tory defector Lee Anderson warned: “The fox is in the henhouse.”
Last night Mr Farage claimed his party “has more than doubled its membership in the last five weeks”.
The MP for Clacton urged his fans to “come and join the revolt”.
It came as the party hit back at accusations that some of its election candidates were “fake” artificial intelligence bots.

The Lib Dems challenged Reform to prove its candidates were all real people because their biographies on the party website lacked detail.
Responding to the conspiracy party chairman Richard Tice blasted: “It is a total fabricated lie that is nothing short of defamatory, libellous and utterly outrageous.
” We’ve proved it to people like them and the Guardian and still they print this utter trash an garbage.
“I’m steaming mad about it.”
Today will kickstart the official swearing in of the UK’s newly elected MPs.
The process will take place across three days before the normal parliamentary timetable begins.
Rishi Sunak is expected to speak for the first time since his crushing defeat.
Both he and PM Sir Keir Starmer will speak from the dispatch box to congratulate Sir Lindsay Hoyle on being re-elected as Commons Speaker.
