The unique combination of compact size, trailing habit, and abundant blooms, makes the Petunia Cascading Mini a standout choice for adding color and charm to gardens. The presence of yellow pigment in the flower core or petal can be striking, particularly in the early morning when the pigment in the petals and the golden light of the rising Sun results in a breathtaking display of natural beauty.
These photos were taken on the morning of March 26, 2024, in our home-garden in Rishon LeZion, Israel. In the top photo, the Sun's rays illuminate the core of the flower. In the bottom photo, the rays penetrate through young petals, which are in the process of opening the flower. The translucent quality of the petunia petals allows the sunlight to filter through, lighting the yellow core from within and giving the flower an almost magical appearance.
