On his podcast, Paul George calls the Clippers initial offer (two-years, $60 million) “disrespectful.” He says he would have signed exact same deal as Kawhi did midseason. And when LAC finally offered it after the season, he said he’d take it—leaving a four-year offer on the – 12:56 PM

Interesting to hear Paul George, on his pod, give his side of negotiations w/ Clippers. He said LA’s 1st offer was 2yrs/$60 mil — “disrespectful.” Then LA went to $45 mil AAV. PG said he would’ve taken Kawhi deal but LA offered too late. He asked for no-trade clause; LA said no. – 12:31 PM

It’s been more than a week since the start of free agency and the Pelicans still haven’t figured out what the future holds for Brandon Ingram.

The strategy I’m hypothesizing only requires Caleb Martin to not be the last man signed. Paul George or Andre Drummond could come after. Doesn’t matter which one. – 10:39 PM

I’m as far removed from this stuff as I’ve ever been but it appears the 76ers are giving Caleb Martin 4/$35M (starting at ~$8.1M), plus $5M in unlikely bonuses (starting ~$1.2M). They can do that, even though it puts them over the salary cap, by signing him before Paul George. – 10:14 PM

Kawhi Leonard when asked about Paul George’s departure from the Clippers during a smaller media session at Team USA camp: “I’m not talking about that. I’m here to talk about USA Basketball.” – 7:55 PM

Kawhi Leonard said he was able to get on the court fully 2-3 weeks before Team USA training camp, and that at that point he knew he’d be able to be part of it.
He declined to answer any questions about Paul George leaving the Clippers, saying he wanted to focus on Team USA. – 7:45 PM
