The mum-of-two, also known online as Sophie Hinchliffe, lost her dad Alan after he passed away “peacefully” in his sleep on April 25, 2024.

Previously, the cleaning fanatic shared that her late father, who suffered with life-long “chest, lung and heart” problems, was “never blessed with… fantastic health” and had been hospitalised for several weeks in 2023.

The mum, who recently took an eight week break from social media, has now shared an emotional and a heartbreaking update where she bravely admitted to feeling “broken”.

As a result, fans and celebrities alike have rushed to support the star, with many telling her to “take her time” to return fully to social media.

Posting on Instagram, Mrs Hinch told her 4.8million followers: “I’d be lying if I said I was okay… in fact, I feel broken.

”I feel an extreme mix of emotions and not too much makes sense right now.

”It’s like I’ve entered this new part of my world, where only grief sits, and it feels heavy; something I can’t describe unless you’ve been there.”

The influencer, who counts Stacey Solomon as one of her besties, added: ”For now, I’m really trying to navigate this new life without one of the people I love the most; one of my biggest support systems.

”I feel like my Dad taught me everything I know; except how to live without him.”

The grieving mum also took the time to thank her fans for their support during this difficult time for both her and her loved ones.

She continued: “I wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for all the overwhelming amount of love and support.

”I may not be able to get back to you all right now, but I see you and I am so grateful.

”Thank you for being so patient with me while I try to find my feet again alongside my family, who I am SO incredibly proud of and who I love with my whole heart.

”I’m really hoping to find my feet again one day, my family is my everything.”

The influencer penned: “Loss changes everything about you and the way you see the world.

“You are living in deep pain, unable to relate and wondering why the sun keeps rising like nothing happened.

“But I just wanted to say Thank you.

“I may not be able to get back to you all right now, but I see you and I’m so grateful.

“I’m really hoping to find my feet again one day, my family is my everything.”

The gut-wrenching post was shared just 23 hours ago, but has instantly touched the hearts of thousands.

Fans of the star, and a bunch of celebrities flocked to the comments to share messages of love and support for the grieving mother.

When did Sophie Hinchcliffe's dad die?

On May 8, 2024, Sophie revealed her beloved dad had passed away “suddenly, yet peacefully.

Her father actually died on April 25, 2024, but his grieving daughter waited until she was ready to share the sad news with her fans.

In April 2023, Sophie revealed how she was taking a break social media after her dad ended up in hospital.

She said at the time: “My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health – from his chest, his lungs, his heart.

“He’s always struggled you know.”

She heartbreakingly added: “I just want him to be happy.”

One person said: “Keep coming to check if you’ve posted. Really missing you and your laugh. You bought a lot of us on here together and will be forever grateful for this. Look after yourself. Your dad will be immensely proud of you. Sending you the biggest of love, hugs and well wishes.”

Another added: “Soph, we don’t know you but we are here to carry you when you need us. There is no correct time, don’t feel you need to post if you’re not ready. We’ll be here when you’re ready with the same amount of love as always, sending you the biggest Hinch hug.”

At the moment it’s heavy and you need to rest. Take care

A third commented: “Take all the time you need lovely. Grief is a long and winding road. Of which there is no final destination. It will somehow just get a little smaller and you will learn to live around it. Almost small enough to pop in your pocket and carry it with you. At the moment it’s heavy and you need to rest. Take care.”

Whilst someone else penned: “Take your time hun. You don’t owe us anything, take care of yourself. My dms are always open for you.”

CELEBS SHARE SUPPORT

At the same time, Love Island star Shaughna Phillips wrote: “You will find your feet darling, one day at a time, one hour at a time some days. The love doesn’t change, the relationship doesn’t change, only the physical leaves us, but he’s with you forever, you’ll feel him and hear him in everything you do.”

The X Factor singer songwriter Lucy Spraggan shared: “Sending you love.”

Whilst media personality Zoe Sugg, also known as Zoella, expressed: “Sending you so so much love Sophie.”
