The Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs has charged Bus drivers and other transport officials to always prioritize the needs of persons with disabilities in the cause of their duties and ensure inclusivity.
The Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Orientation Department made this call at the inaugural Village Meeting, a quarterly event aimed at enhancing the collaboration and performance of Bus Operating Companies (BOCs) in Lagos, organised by the Lagos State Metropolitan Transport Authority held at the Oshodi Transport Interchange, Terminal 1 during the weekend.
Mrs Adeolu highlighted the obstacles encountered by disabled individuals and urge Bus drivers to ensure that everyone regardless of disability type get accessible services.
