Temperatures on Saturday are set to rise to a sweltering 38 degrees Celsius inland, with highs of 35 degrees Celsius expected on the north coast, 33 degrees Celsius expected on the southeast and east coasts, 32 degrees Celsius expected on the rest of the coasts, and 31 degrees Celsius expected in the mountains.
The skies will be largely clear throughout the day, with locally increased cloud cover possible in the mountains in the afternoon.
Clear weather will continue overnight, with temperatures set to drop to 24 degrees Celsius inland and on the north coast, 25 degrees Celsius on the rest of the coasts, and 19 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
Sunny weather is set to persist through Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, with increased cloud cover in some areas for short periods of time.
Temperatures across the island will continue to rise throughout the next few days.
