A WOMAN has shared the secret to her success on Vinted.
She made an impressive £267 in just nine days, after re-listing all 60 of the items she had for sale.
Vinted is an online marketplace where people can buy and sell second hand clothes, shoes and accessories.
It’s completely free to upload clothes to the app and Vinted does not take a cut of sellers’ profits and instead charges buyers a small fee to purchase each item.
Mya Turner decided to re-list all of her Vinted items after struggling to make sales.
Re-listing just means deleting all of your items, and then listing them again.
She said that re-listing works better if you take completely new photos and upload the items again around five minutes after deleting them.
When re-listing her items, Mya made sure to use lots of keywords, that users are likely to search for, and changed the background of her photographs to a clear white one.
She said that by making these small changes, she began making sales quickly.
The Vinted whizz added that the re-listed items were priced either at the same price or slightly lower than when she originally listed them.
Mya has managed to sell 18 items in the last nine days, making her a total of £267.
Her best sales were two coats, one of which sold for £55 and the other for £85.
Taking to TikTok, Mya said: “I definitely recommend re-listing your entire wardrobe as it has worked out great for me”.
“Like I said, I made £267 in nine days, which is insane if you ask me”.
Mya’s video, which was posted under the username @myaturner1, has likely left many feeling impressed, as it has racked up over 140,000 views on the video sharing platform.

One person said: “I relisted nearly all of mine yesterday and I’ve sold 8 things so far”.
A second person said: “I tend to re-list a few things every week.

“I re-listed 50 items at the end of last month and sold 20 things over one weekend”.
A fourth added: “I do this once a month and so much goes!”
Online marketplaces like Vinted and Depop have millions of users across the UK, with the cost-of-living crisis only increasing their popularity.

According to the popular platform, sellers do not have to pay tax on earnings they make from the site.
This, HMRC stated, is because selling personal items through platforms like Vinted is not itself taxable.
”If the money a member makes on Vinted over a year is less than the amount they paid for the items they are selling, then there is no tax to pay,” a Vinted spokesperson explained.
”Generally, only business sellers “trading” for profit might need to pay tax.
”A tax-free allowance of £1,000 has been in place since 2017 for people who trade for profit.”
