Six people were shot and injured in a early morning shooting in Albany. According to the Albany Police Department, the shooting took place on the 600 block of Myrtle Avenue shortly after midnight on Friday.

Police responded to the home and found evidence of gunfire in that area. Albany police later found that six people were shot during a large gathering at that home but were no longer at the scene.
Around 12:20 a.m., police near Hudson Avenue and Quail Street were flagged down by a 17-year-old who was shot in the arm. He was brought to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
