A 50-YEAR-OLD mum-of-two who still gets ID’ed has revealed the secret behind her youthful glow.
Abbi Franklin, from Guildford, Surrey, has been finding it challenging coming to terms with her age since celebrating the milestone birthday earlier this year, in March.
However, the stunning mum-of-two recently received the ultimate confidence boost after a cashier at Co-op asked for Abbi’s ID before allowing her to buy tobacco.
The blonde – whose daughters are aged 17 and 23 – was forced to step out of the store to grab her handbag that she’d left with her teenager in the vehicle.
Luckily, Abbi did have the ID in her purse – although she later admitted that it wasn’t something she tends to carry with herself.
Despite dealing with health issues that prevent her from working, the 50-year-old takes great pride in her looks.
The stunner likes to maintain a glam appearance with eyelash extensions, blonde highlights, numerous ear piercings, beauty treatments and stylish outfits that are trending.
It’s not just loved ones who often remark on her youthful looks and glow – strangers, too, typically guess she’s around 35.
Speaking of the Co-op incident, Abbi said: ”It was great – my best day ever! I’ve been bouncing all week because of this.
She added: ”I just kept saying “you’re joking.” And he kept going, “No, I need to see ID’.”
The mother-of-two went on: ”It was lucky really – I don’t usually take my ID out with me.”
This comes after a singleton was trolled online after people insisted she looked 20 years older than her actual age.
Dark-haired Lindsay Lucido recently took to Instagram to chat about dating and being single – however, the comedian‘s video took the internet by storm for an entirely different reasons.
It wasn’t so much her single status that made the video go viral on the platform – it was Lindsay’s age.
In the clip, viewers could see the comedian sport stylish glasses with a black frame, no make-up, as well as a cosy zip-up hoodie, before Lindsay revealed that she was 30.
