ANDROID fans have always been spoilt for choice on Amazon lately, and I’ve spotted an excellent mid-range mobile that’s on sale.
Amazon has cut the price of the Honor 90 by 25%, taking the overall cost from £199.99 down to £149.99.

Android users have a ton of options, from Samsung and Google to the lesser-known brands OnePlus and Honor.
You’d think there must be some poor performers with all that choice, but that’s not the case, as you’ll see with the Honor.
They cater to a broader range of needs, from budget-friendly to fancy frill-filled flagships.
For anyone with initial doubts, the Honor brand was founded 11 years ago, so they’re no newbies to the smartphone game, creating affordable options like the Honor 90 and more expensive choices like the world’s thinnest Android, the Honor Magic V2.
I’ve taken a look at Honor 90 Smart’s specs and there’s some high-quality tech underneath the hood.
Interestingly, flagship devices from Apple and Samsung often have rear main cameras of 48 megapixels, but the 90 Smart tops them both with an astonishing 108 megapixels – that’s some crystal-clear photos.
The phone also features a sizeable 6.8-inch hypertransmissive display, making streaming, gaming and updating the group chat much smoother and brighter.
With a brightness of 850 nits, you won’t have to seek cover under a tree to correctly view what’s happening on your device.
This is coupled with a battery life that Honor promises to last up to 2 days per full charge; if you’re more into streaming videos, it’s around 16.6 hours, social media scrolling 17.9, and if you like to keep it simple with calls, it’s a whop[ping 37.8 hours.
Another Amazon shopper boldly notes it’s an ‘incredible phone, [the] perfect size and better than iPhone in my opinion‘.
Ultimately, this is a seriously affordable device that’s now £50 cheaper than usual.
As one Amazon shopper eloquently states: ‘[I’m] not arsed about a trillion-pixel camera or it being a millisecond slower in processing capability than the previous overpriced iteration… [It] does everything I want at a good price.’
With a fantastic 4.4-star rating, it’s bound to match what the reviews state, but it may be worth picking it up and deciding for yourself.
OnePlus is another great option if you’re shopping around on a budget, and both Senior Writer Matt Breen and myself have spotted a couple of gems.
Matt discovered the OnePlus 9 Pro for £169.90, down from £299.99, a 43% reduction that makes the phone even more worthwhile.
I came across the OnePlus 10 Pro, a slightly newer iteration but on sale for 35% less, taking the cost down from £269.90 to just £144.66.
